Kindred Piano Method

Kindred Piano Method

Kindred Piano Method is a book series that celebrates the diversity and unity of music.

The word “kindred” means family, a similar nature, or a connection.

We recommend starting with The Primer Level as this is the introductory book in piano methods, teaching the fundamentals of piano and preparing the student to move on to Levels One and Two.

Reviews

“Andrea's passion for music education, and having songs and illustrations reflect the values of our global and inclusive community,  is like no other. Andrea is single-handedly changing the way kids learn piano.”

Tracy O., The Otter Group

“Andrea is uniquely gifted as a piano teacher, especially for kids! We have especially appreciated how she encourages the creativity of our child in learning piano. Our daughter genuinely loves her piano lessons with Andrea and is learning a ton.”

Susan U., Edina, MN

“Andrea was my son Eric’s piano teacher during his junior and senior high school years. She has such a passion to share her love of teaching piano and finding what music style uniquely “clicks” for each of her students.

(Eric) went on to the Air Force Academy and a career flying the F16. He and his wife have just purchased a piano, so Eric asked to have all of Andrea’s teaching notes and lesson books sent to him. Her teaching made a deep impression that continues to bring him enjoyment, eleven years later.”

Liisa H., Minneapolis, MN
